Why it matters
Write for searches that already exist.
A page only gets traffic if people search for what it covers. Keyword research tells you what they type, how often, and how hard it is to rank.
Demand
See what people search
Monthly search volume shows which ideas have an audience before you spend a day writing.
Effort
Pick fights you can win
A difficulty score from 0 to 100 tells a realistic target from a long shot, so newer sites can start with easy keywords.
Intent
Match the page to the search
Intent tells you whether searchers want to learn, compare or buy, which decides the kind of page to write.
Who it's for

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Yes. Without an account you can run 3 lookups a day at no cost. If you are signed in to AISEO, each lookup uses 5 credits, and lookups are included on the Scale and Team plans.
Each search returns up to 100 keyword ideas, ordered from the highest monthly search volume to the lowest. The results also show how many ideas exist in total for your seed keyword, so you know how large the topic is.
A seed keyword is the short starting phrase that describes your topic, such as standing desk or email marketing. The tool looks for longer searches that contain it. Broad seeds of one to three words return the most ideas. If a very specific phrase returns nothing, shorten it.
The ideas and their metrics come from a licensed keyword database built from Google search results and Google Ads data, the same source the paid AISEO product reads. Search volume is the average number of monthly searches in the country you select.
Keyword difficulty is a score from 0 to 100 that estimates how hard it is to reach the first page of Google for a keyword, based on the strength of the pages that already rank there. This tool groups scores of 30 or under as easy, 31 to 60 as medium, and above 60 as hard.
Intent describes what the searcher is trying to do. Informational searches want an answer or a guide. Commercial searches compare options before a purchase. Transactional searches are ready to buy or sign up. Navigational searches are looking for a specific site. Match your page type to the intent and it has a better chance of ranking.
Look for keywords that are relevant to what you offer, have enough monthly searches to be worth a page, and have a difficulty score your site can realistically compete at. Newer sites usually do better starting with easy keywords, even when the volume is lower, and working up from there.
Yes. Cost per click shows the average amount advertisers pay for a click on each keyword in US dollars. Use it to estimate budgets and to spot keywords with commercial value. For final bids, confirm the numbers in your own Google Ads account, since real costs depend on your quality score and competition at the time.
You can research keywords in 28 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India, and Germany. Search volume and cost per click are specific to the country you select. Keyword ideas are drawn from English language searches in that country.
A value of n/a means the data provider has no reliable figure for that keyword yet. This is most common for difficulty and cost per click on very new or very low volume searches. The keyword is still a real search, but treat it with more caution.
