AE-Intelligence provides AISEO. This policy covers our website, dashboard, content tools, and integrations, including the AISEO AI Visibility plugin for ChatGPT and Codex.
Contact [email protected] about privacy, your information, or a deletion request.
Information we collect
- Account information. We receive your name, email address, account identifiers, and sign-in information when you create or connect an account.
- Content and requests. We process text, prompts, documents, uploads, website addresses, brand names, and settings you provide. We also store generated content, reports, and saved work.
- Workspace information. A workspace contains your site, plan, credits, and saved work. We store workspace membership, permissions, subscription status, and credit usage.
- Payment information. Our payment provider processes your payment details. We receive billing identifiers, subscription details, and payment status to manage your purchases.
- Usage and technical information. We collect IP addresses, browser and device information, page visits, feature usage, and diagnostic logs. Error monitoring can include account identifiers and recordings of interactions with our pages.
- Communications. We receive messages, contact details, and attachments you send through support, chat, or email.
We also retrieve public website content and search information when a requested feature needs them.
AISEO AI Visibility and connected AI tools
Our integrations use the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect AI clients with AISEO tools. When you use a tool, the client sends AISEO the information included in that request.
A visibility check sends a brand name or website address. We use it to retrieve mentions, related topics, and cited sources. We return the results to the requesting client.
Workflow discovery receives the requested category or workflow identifier and returns information about available content workflows. Visibility checks and workflow discovery do not require an AISEO account. Content creation and optimization described by this plugin run in the AISEO dashboard.
Other connected tools may process text, documents, or account information when their features require it. Connecting an account lets us verify your identity and permissions for those tools.
AISEO receives the request data the client sends, including any context the client includes. The client provider separately handles your conversations and returned results under its own privacy policy. Disconnecting a plugin stops future use through that connection but does not itself delete earlier records.
How we use information
- Provide visibility reports, research, content generation, content optimization, and other features you request.
- Save your work, manage accounts and permissions, process payments, and track credit usage.
- Answer support requests and send account, service, and billing messages.
- Understand usage, diagnose errors, improve features, and protect against abuse.
- Send marketing communications, manage communication preferences, and meet applicable legal obligations.
Who receives information
We use service providers to operate AISEO. The information they receive depends on the feature you use:
- Hosting, authentication, and storage providers handle accounts, application records, and files. These include Clerk, Convex, and Cloudflare.
- AI and research providers process inputs needed to generate content, analyze websites, or retrieve research. These include OpenAI and providers used by your selected workflow.
- Stripe processes payments and subscription billing.
- Google Analytics, PostHog, and Sentry process usage information and diagnostics when enabled. They support analytics, error monitoring, and session replay.
- Crisp and email providers, including Resend, help us provide support and send communications.
AI providers may retain inputs and outputs under their service terms and data controls. We do not promise that every provider stores no data.
Members of a shared workspace can access information according to their permissions. Connected services receive information when you use their integrations. We may also disclose information when applicable law requires it or to address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
Storage and retention
Retention depends on the type of information, the feature, and the purpose for keeping it:
- Account and saved work records support your account and ongoing access to content and reports. Removing account access does not immediately erase all underlying application records or uploaded files.
- Shared workspace records can remain available to other members after you leave or delete your account.
- Billing and credit records support transaction history, accounting, dispute handling, and applicable recordkeeping requirements.
- Support records, request logs, and diagnostics support issue resolution, security investigations, and service operation. Their retention depends on the relevant systems and provider settings.
Copies may remain in backups or provider systems after removal from the active service. Account deletion, disconnection, and authorization expiry do not establish a deletion deadline for those copies.
Contact [email protected] to request deletion or information about retention for a particular record or integration. We assess requests against applicable requirements and any continuing need to retain the information.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, support, and analytics. Analytics and diagnostic information can link to your account and workspace identifiers.
You can remove or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may prevent sign-in or disrupt features. Browser cookie settings do not remove information we already hold.
Your choices and requests
- Use account settings to update your details or delete your account.
- Disconnect integrations through the connected client to stop using them.
- Use the unsubscribe link in marketing emails to stop those messages. We may still send necessary account and billing messages.
- Email [email protected] to request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of your personal information. You can also ask about restricting or objecting to its use.
Your rights depend on applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request. You can also raise privacy concerns with your local data protection authority.
Security and international processing
We use authentication and access controls to restrict access to account and workspace information. No online service can guarantee complete security.
Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your use of AISEO.
