Why it matters
Search traffic shows who is winning the market.
You cannot see a competitor's analytics, but you can see their rankings. A traffic estimate turns those rankings into a number you can compare.
Benchmark
Size up any site
Check your own domain to set a baseline, then a few competitors to see how far ahead or behind you are.
Sources
See what drives the number
Every estimate comes with the keywords that send the most traffic, their positions, and the page that ranks for each one.
Value
Put a price on organic visits
Traffic value shows what the same clicks would cost through Google Ads, which helps you weigh SEO against paid search.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
It looks up the keywords a domain ranks for in Google in the country you choose. For each keyword it takes the monthly search volume and the share of searchers who typically click a result in that position, then multiplies the two. Adding those figures up across every ranking keyword gives the estimated monthly organic traffic.
Yes. You can run 3 lookups a day without an account. If you sign in, each lookup uses 5 credits, and lookups are included on the Scale and Team plans.
Treat it as a directional estimate, not a measurement. Search volumes are monthly averages, click-through rates are typical values for each position, and rankings change from day to day. The estimate tends to be closer for sites with many ranking keywords and further off for small or new sites. It is most reliable for comparing sites with each other, and least reliable as an exact visit count.
No. It estimates organic search traffic from Google in one country. Direct visits, social media, email, referrals, and other search engines are not included, so a site's real total is usually higher. Paid search is reported separately when the domain runs Google Ads in that country.
No. Analytics tools record real visits on a site you own. This tool has no access to any site's analytics. It models traffic from public search rankings, which is why it works for any domain, including competitors, and why its numbers will differ from your own analytics.
Yes. Enter any domain and you will see its estimated organic traffic, ranking keywords, and top keywords by traffic. Running the same check on your own site and on a few competitors is a simple way to compare them.
Traffic value is what you would pay to buy the same clicks through Google Ads. Each keyword's estimated traffic is multiplied by its average cost per click, and the results are added together. It is shown in US dollars and is a way to compare the worth of organic traffic, not a revenue figure.
It counts the domain's ranking keywords by where they appear in Google: position 1, positions 2 to 3, positions 4 to 10, positions 11 to 20, and positions 21 and beyond. Most clicks go to the first few results, so a site with many keywords in the top three earns far more traffic than one with the same number of keywords on page two.
You can choose from 28 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, India, Brazil, and Japan. Each check covers one country at a time, so run the domain again to see another market.
The domain has no rankings in the keyword database for the country you selected. That is common for new sites, very small sites, and sites that target another country. Try a different country, and check that you entered the main domain.
